Bought this to use on speedplay zero pedals. It also helps reduce the mess of grease, and if you need larger amounts (like repacking bearings) this screws off easily.

Cons
More of the grease comes out around the plunger handle at the rear of the device than comes out of the nozzle. Using finish line grease, more leaks out near the plungger than the applicator.
Much better than this piece of *. I get the impression that this is a poorly made item with low quality control. This grease gun is pure garbage.

Yes you need to squeeze the tube to get the grease up in the gun so the thumb press can push it out the applicator

This small grease gun is not self priming and is very intolerant of air bubbles
