This glass is very similar to the glass screen protectors i have used on my phones

It comes with the normal accessories to clean the screen and then apply the screen glass protector on both the back lcd and the front lens

Both glass protectors went on easily and the touch screen works perfectly

I think the biggest benefit of these glass protectors is that if you drop or crash while riding the camera there is a good chance the glass protector will act as a sacrificial piece and absorb the impact and crack instead of the nonreplacement lcd or lens glass
