Pros
Trilby and rhis do their best to avoid a romance but it is unavoidable when they work together in such close quarters. I was gripped by the one where rhis finds out that tril's ship has been attacked.
Linnea sinclair masterfully creates an action packed, adventure filled and dangerous tale. Sinclair is just fabulous and one such author who tickles my sci-fi fancy.
The 'sko are enemies of the conclave, which trilby is a member of. The conclave and the 'sco have a treaty going right now that has only been in existence for three years. On their way out, they get attacked by the ‘sco.
Review courtesy of all things urban fantasy. This book is the ultimate blend of science-fiction and romance. The author does a great job of making a small space feel both claustrophobic but complete.

As far as the science fiction aspect goes, it reminds me of lemonade made with half the amount of mix that the recipe calls for--dull, dilute &.

Trilby and dezi have no idea what a zafharian is doing in a ycsko ship and rhis isnt in any hurry to enlighten them
Rhis is useful in that he can help her repair her ship
That scene alone is worth the price of this book

He immediately gets dressed and takes trilby up to the bridge of the ship
Unbeknownst to trilby rhis has gained control over the ship and is taking her back with him to his area of the galaxy
The three of them do the necessary repairs to the ship
She and dezi head for the ship

She goes to the crash site to salvage it and instead of finding a ‘sco enemy she finds an imperial officer who was escaping from the ‘sco
He had escaped from the ycsko and needed to complete his mission
Competitiveness
He has a grudge against rhis as well
Emotions and tongues are both brittle as trilby and rhis butt heads over any and everything
Thus trilby becomes part of a team rhis has organized to stop the evil sko from taking over the galaxy
Once rhis regains consciousness he attempts to hijack trilbys ship planning on returning to his ship where he is the senior captain
