The book doesn't delve too much into the nitty gritty of accounting - that's for the accountant. This book is nice and direct to the point where the layman can understand and apply the principles to work.

It's clear, concise and really, well. Easy to understand. This is the best i've seen in terms of accuracy and simplification. Easy to read and comprehend.
This book takes a day to read. It's awesome. it's the first book i've bothered to review on amazon ever.
Cons
It is terrible, and not like the paper version at all. It lacks the grey boxes which highlight the important parts of each chapter. On the kindle for mac app, these sheets are far too small to read.

I’ve never been good at accounting and my business has run off of very limited accounting practices of just know how much money i had and how much i was losing or making over a 1 month period

Notwithstanding given that accounting principles are not overly logical for science trained readers i would have welcomed a bit more explaining on the reasons why accounting has a tendency to use such seemingly complicated methods to simple numerical exercises
