Pros & Cons
Pros
The characters are likeable and i found them believable after the intro. In both the original game and this one the world is represented as a series of linked areas, like dots on a graph. The characters say realistic things,as well as have realistic p... Read More
Focus on maneuvering and positioning is what sets tactical rpg battles apart from traditional rpg ones. What good is that high level bolt when the entire enemy squad gets to move before you can cast it? It's reminiscent of the final fantasy vi's magic... Read More
Just giving characters different jobs and mastering the multitude of skills will keep you busy for hours on end. My only gripes with the game are the flimsy plot and that some jobs become obscelete after unlocking some of the later ones.
This game was such a pleasant surprise, i still reccomend it to people who have a gba or ds constantly. The tactical side is just as much fun as the original game. As you progress through the game, the backgrounds change drastically with each area.
Cons
Law system is a list of things you can't do in a particular battle. Severe violations are converted into a yellow card. If your main character ever gets a severe violation, it's game over for you. It * to get gameover just because after a 45 minute ba... Read More
The graphics just plain lack style or any zest at all. Oh and the character clothing is outrageously bizzare! The plot is virtually non-existant. This one falls in the category with the kiddie game stigma that plagues nintendo today.
The game is far too easy for any skilled player. It has a huge lack of sidequests or other alternate things to do in the game. Alot of problembs with this game.
Highlights
Quality
The job system as well as the skillap system is quite clever and works well with the game
Also the graphics are particularly good for a gba game and the music fits well with the gameplay
Multiplayer for turnbased strategy is never very good
The only down side i can think of is that it gets a little repetitive towards the end with the same old routine
Price
Gameplaywise ffta is superior to its predecessor final fantasy tactics
Ffta is all about kids tromping through a fantasy world
Shipping
The seller packaged it well for shipping and it arrived quickly
Even after shipping this game is still 10 cheaper than the retail price i see in stores
Packaging/appearance
It arrived on time and with no damages to the contents
Competitiveness
Great game and reasonably priced unlike its playstation counterpart
Presentationffta stands in contrast to its more moody predecessor
Despite having those games highly reccomended to me i could not get into them
