Pros

The filtron produces an excellent cold brew concentrate. The concentrate is not really a concentrate but it still produces a good cup of iced coffee.

The filtron system has some minor flaws. It has fewer learning curves and is more forgiving than the toddy. I'd call this a toddy maker myself, even though some disagree.

Make sure to boil the filter every so often as instructed. Includes a second large plastic container with a tiny hole in the center--like a pin *.

Cons

Water only seeps through the hole if i stimulate it manually with a stirrer. I end up having to manually pour the top basin into the lower basin. As a result, the cold brew isn't as concentrated and doesn't taste as nice as the first batch.
