Swapped out the filter after 30 days and placed a new one in.

These don’t stop as much dust as others, so once i finish these it is likely that i’ll switch to another kind that are thicker and trap more pollutants.

Unfortunately the home depot doesn't sell genuine 3m filters anymore and i don't like shopping at lowes.

The outside paper based cardboard on the filter is glued and sometimes, on some of them, the glue fails causing the cardboard to lift up and get the filter jammed inside the filter cavity of the hvac.

When there is plenty of moisture in the air, such as during rainy season, the paper based cardboard on the filter starts sagging causing the filter to get stuck.
