Pros
Water tastes great. Haven't seen any charcoal residue or any other issues with the filtered water.
Cons
Black grit/sand inside actually floats up into the water reservoir. It looks pretty disgusting, almost like pieces of mold crawling around in the water tank. Poor carbon leaks out of the filter.
Most of the poor flavor in my water comes from chloramines, so i believe that these ilters do not remove chloramines nearly as well as oem brita filters. Britta filters have a screen and last much longer. I use 2 filters both were the same.
