You can point the light down a bit but thats not ideal

If i were to redesign anything it would be to extend a bit of a hood over the top of the light to prevent this

Light is fine but its handle bar mount clamp broke down in a month

And just fyi as said eatlier in my first review light just worked fine it was the mount clamp that was faulty so it could be just one of those bad case

While the bike is a fixed focus long throw light and doesnt have an adjustable wide flood light mode like the flashlight does when both are in spot light long throw mode you can see the fillixar bike light is at least as bright if not brighter than the 1300 lumen flash light is

I tested it on its brightest settings and the bike light is very bright and will throw a lot of light down the road when riding my bike

I use it for about 3 hours on low cumulatively before the indicator turns yellow 60 which is right in line with what the product description promises
