I bought the grill at lowes and it was a floor model

I called bge customer service and they recommended their nomex gasket along w 3m super 77

Then spray on the super 77 slowly and carefully stick on the nomex gasket even though its a straight piece of material it follows the circular egg quite easily while pressing it down then close the egg for about 24 hours for the adhesive to dry
