Pros & Cons
Pros
It prints more nicely than petg on my ender 5 pro and enders 5 plus! There is some slight stringing but this may be something that can be fixed by adjusting the printer settings. It prints easily onto unheated garolite. It is paintable, machinable, ca... Read More
This stuff is amazing. It just blows my mind. Exceeded my expectations by far.
Alloy 910 works extremely well for small mechanical parts. No warping at all. Has more flex than abs and pla. But less flex than my other taulman nylon. Tougher and more durable than pla, stronger and stiffer than tpu.
Highlights
Quality
Overall i am impressed with the strength and layer adhesion even though it is not super rigid
Provides consistent quality prints without any special requirements other than keeping the material dry
I have had difficulty with the material falling off the spool when it loosens up
I only have a twoup printer bottom of the line quality and price but was still able to print slowly at 245 degrees c
Packaging/appearance
I am planning to make a house key out of it for fun because i am confident it wont break in the lock
Product packaging was loose and had small holes when it arrived
However it was really hard to get off of the glass
Packaging came with a hole which got me worried since nylon resins soak up water like a mf
Competitiveness
It prints more nicely than petg on my ender 5 pro and ender 5 plus
Its also about double the price of petg or abs so test print with pla first
