I dried them naturally stuffed them with newspaper first and gave them a couple of coats using dark brown as the marks would not have covered otherwise

Coverage was a little patchy at first but with a second coat they look absolutely fine and no marks show through

I will buy another bottle of this at some time to give my boots another coat but i am really pleased with the result as the boots would have been unwearable otherwise

It does not work like leather dye where the dye coats the leather and therefore you can change the original colour of the leather to any colour you like

One thing to bear in mind most stitching is polyester which will not take the dye

Applicator fine on most of she but found it difficult to use when near the sole of the shoe which happened to be white
