These hoods are durable. The hood is very durable due to its basic design and solid shade lens. His current hood is a fibre-metal brand as well.
Cons
They're all garbage on one's these kind of rigs. Just not worth the headaches. If your shop or truck needs an extra hood this may work.

So ive done as many do and chopped it down and replaced the majority of it with leather

Bottom of hood curves back toward your neck slightly unconrftable if your trying to look down

The screws on the side for the tension adjustment work good but are made entirely out of plastic so they are susceptible to stripping out easily aftermarket aluminum ones are available through amazon
