Cons 1 initially i found it very difficult to clean the interior of the glass and 2 the provided wick emitted a foul odor

Basically place your thumbs on the frame either side of where the handle attaches to the frame then using your middle fingertips raise the metal chimney piece which is located immediately above the glass and then rotate the glass outward away from the fill spout

Also the metal chimney piece above the glass is springloaded so you have to hold it up while rotating the glass away from the lantern body
