Pros & Cons
Pros
Ferrofluid can go through skin, it is nanometer sized iron particles. I highly recommend using latex or those types of gloves while handling it since it stains skin easily.
The ferrofluid was safely contained and ample in supply. It had enough fluid to make 3 decorative jars, with some leftover.
Excellent purchase. Good shipping time. Would use again. Amazing stuff. Happy with my purchase.
Cons
No instructions. No guidelines. No help whatsoever. No instruction.
The surface of the ferrofluid is not smooth. It's as though something has dirtied it. The reaon i never even show it to anyone anymore is because it is black, oily ink. The sides of the glass jar are completely covered in a black gunk.

The rubbing alcohol and acetone might look like good options from the phone because the solution is so clear but these completely destroyed the ferrofluid so that what you were left with was just magnetic shavings in solution

It could be that the carrier should be water but they just didnt clean up the ferrofluid well enough to be good in anything or maybe it needs a mixed solution for a carrier
