I went camping with it and i guess it turned on in my pack during the day which at an outside or 100 f is bad for a light that needs to cool and im pretty sure the solder inside melted and the main lead came loose

Long story short i loved this light and thats why it has five stars the only reason it doesnt work is because of user error and accident and a small thing about loosing the warranty information my error again

Potential buyers of this product should rest assured that this is in fact a waterproof within reason headlamp that actually has a decent battery life at high output and i for one never had problems with the inline control which appears to be a concern of others

No idea what the correct way to set up the straps is but finding a way to make it work takes only a few minutes comes separated without much instructionother concerns i can addressbattery hip holster clip stays on the belt real niceplastic used in construction is considerably durable not quite sure how to cut it up yetbatteries are also given a beefy oring for protectionhinge stays put even when mountain biking on rough terraincomes with a couple clips to attach the wire to your jacket etc like a lecturing microphone kinda how the whole setup feels with the batteries on the hip wire is actually fairly long so tall types are fine there but the headstrap could get a little tight so maybe rob one from that old energizer one that came with the batteries and collects dust

Most bike store people who know their stuff will not recommend just using a headlamp so im not saying do what i do but beats gettting a niterider light for the price of four of these fenix also released a bike lamp on their site if interestedlong review
