I use some rechargeable 18650 batteries that you can buy with a charger very reasonably priced on ebay
I do like that you dont need an external battery pack it is a complete single unit which holds two 18650 batteries
You will need at least 2 x 18650 batteries to power this
On good 18650 batteries that gives about an hour of life

No pwm flicker on any modes that i can detect

The connection sometimes triggers itself when installing as its a headphone jack so dont look at the light while plugging the switch in
