The one i got looks a little different from the picture on the listing but fender confirmed it is a genuine squire product this one is from a chinese factory the one in the picture may be from another factory

If youre getting it you should also budget for an accessory pack or something with the basics like a string windertool tuner and pics as well as a case and strap and though it may seem like overkill for an inexpensive guitar use strap locks or at some point the guitar will fall off
