It also shreds plastic credit cards fine.

Cons

I am unsure if the product i received is genuine. I had assumed, wrongly it turns out, that paying a premium price would get me a premium product. The voltage on the packaging is a different voltage from the voltage used in the importing country.

The shredder is extremely noisy. Any items such as papers regarding stocks that came in 8x11 envelopes need to be removed from the envelope or it will otherwise jam. When i do try to shread 5 sheets or more the overfeed sensor shuts the shreadder off.... Read More

The delivery of the shredder shredded debris plastic bags and lubricated sheets was amazingly fastthe next day

It took 2 days to track it down

Packaging/appearance

And it came with three plastic trash bags to line the bin

But i guess they figured putting the manual in the shredder ready to be consumed was asking for too much karmic justice out of the box

Damaged box condition that got me a great discount does not appear to have caused any problems

Competitiveness

We have 2 other fellowes shredders and these are officegrade units that do the job better than any other shredder this size ive ever used

I visited their website before hand to compare to other brands and found it very informative

Its quieter than the cheaper models ive had in the past
