So the actual mat the bit where the mouse moves about is very thin flexible plastic that has very low friction due to the microscopic dimpled surface that optical mice thrive on certainly my mouse experiences no drag factor was i move it about nor jitter either

Its made out of a very flexible white plastic that feels almost rubbery

It causes no sweating under my wrist you might think plastic on close contact to skin would cause this but not here

It does not have the gel inserts which deform and do not always return to shape

It does not work so well with my upright penguin mouse as it has the wrong angles but it is fine with a regular mouse

Its very comfortable and works well although it feels a little bit restrictive sometimes depending on the size of screen you have or the mouse sensitivity
