Pros

This latest lx model is by far the lightest, quietest and most efficient unit to date. It's a wonderful shredder that operates quietly as it munches the papers and junk mail that gets fed into it. Solid feature set with auto-clearing, etc.

Great cross shredding. Comes with bin bags and lubricating oil.

Operation is intuitive. This shredder does the trick. Less mess and easier.

This is a quality cross-cut shredder that blows right through thick, stapled stacks. This unit is huge and devours 20 pages like nothing. Use this to bring up a bunch of old files.

Cons

The shredder, while attractive, is overly complicated and poorly made. It worked well for the first few years of low to moderate use; however, it now jams with 2 pieces of paper. At least amazon is great for returns.
