Pros
Shred, stop or reverse for jams. It creates small rectangle bits. Very well made, quiet and easily shreds multiple sheets.
Great feature. Two thumbs up from me. Replaced a 1997 model by fellows. Would buy again.
Easy to assemble, 10 minutes. Nice big waste basket and easy to remove. It has a really large receptacle.
This one makes noise but it isn't overwhelming. New one is better and quieter.
Cons
The slit to insert paper is flat and narrow, so if your paper has the least bend or wave, it's not going in without using both hands, which makes everything take a lot longer when you have a lot to shred. They didn't cover the need to properly insert ... Read More
Used only by myself at home. Not recommended. Disappointed with the product, primarily because of the instructions.
New model 12c15 is unfortunately not durable and i returned it. The bottom is very, very flimsy.

We know that they dont last forever and we had the last one for quite a while so we werent surprised when it finally died

It has an auto shut off feature so that if you are taking the basket out to empty it the power automatically shuts off
