Pros & Cons
Pros
Aeropress allows you to make a full immersion brew without having to use the inverted method. The pressure-actuated valve does a great job of keeping the liquid inside the ap until you're ready to decant it into a cup.
The aeropress is much easier to use than the coffee puck & paper disk. The richer flavour of the crema produced is worth the extra 30 seconds of washing up.
The prismo is easy to plunge and easy to rinse. The rubber edge makes a great seal. The only issue is that it is so tight fitting that i can no longer get it off (i am a personal trainer! Tight fit. Cleanup is also slightly better than with metal plat... Read More
Makes great coffee, doesn’t drip and is easy enough to clean. Nice to have this as an option when i want something more espresso like. That collateral is worth it though, as the espresso-like beverage that i'm now able to produce is a real crowd pleas... Read More
I find the coffee is a bit more aromatic and perhaps sweeter too than when using the original attachment with paper filters. Also will save on purchasing paper filters (in the long run!

But not having to use paper filters is nice and its also really good for stopping the aeropress from dripping whilst youre waiting for it to brew

You don’t have to mess about trying to get one filter out of the pack to put in end up getting 2 and creating the stress of separating them and ripping them and swearing at the coffee then it goes all over the place and you just begin to wonder why you even made it out of bed at all because let’s face it this entire world is a stressful place
