Pros

The design is impeccable. The styling is cool and contemporary. The minimalist modern look matches almost any setup you may have.

It fits in my water dispenser on my refrigerator. It fills two 16 oz mugs/cups or one 32 oz french press. The current size requires me to refill more often compared to my previous kettle.

This sous-vide teapot is great for coffee and tea drinkers. It feels so well-balanced in your hand.

Cons

I know covid * for everyone, but this is a $149 teapot. Failing after steady use indicates components not up to the task. I still like the look and function when it works but strongly suggest getting extended warranty with this purchase.

Biggest shortcoming of this kettle is the smell and taste of leached plasticizers in the boiled water. Customer service denies problem with the stainless. Wish they would have used higher grade stainless.

The vendor is unreasonable and ignores request for a refund or replacement after the kettle was returned. This action represents “let the buyer beware’ practice.

It is often unresponsive requiring multiple presses to work. after 6+ months of use the control knob issue is still intermittent but a new more serious issue has arisen.
