Overall it just seems to do the job its sold for, creating a vacuum seal on your coffee. Keeps coffee fresh, stylish, good quality and size. Hard to imagine not having that indicator feature.

There is a lack of grip in the lid you rotate but that seems to help you know when to stop twisting the silicon seal is heavily compressed by the time you cant move it easily any more
