With care they'll last forever. Have a couple of sets of falco tools but didn't want to pay top whack price for the falco 2 standard setters. I work in landscaping and these have been great.

We also have a pair of felco 2 and i actually prefer the number 5s which are of course cheaper

When they arrived they were also quite stiff so i had to remove the screw from them regrease them and leave the screw a bit looser than it originally was as every time i cut through something they wouldnt spring open again
