Get this along with your 195 t-stat. Fits perfect for a 97 i6 tj. O4 wrangler exact fit. Exact replacement for my 2001 xj cherokee.

Wj perfect fit. Worth every penny. Also topped off and burped the cooling system.

Works, fits, and doesn't leak. Do not over tighten. No rtv necessary.

The silicone bead on the gasket is definitely a necessity. Installed with a new thermostat in a new dorman thermonthat housing. Easy install. Dorman.

Fel pro makes quality stuff. Felpro website is a great resource on installing any of there gaskets. They seal extremely well on a properly prepared surface.
