Im pleased to report that instead the light output seems very evenly distributed and better yet the total bulb length is notably shorter than the feit cfl it replaces

Installed in a fixture thats controlled by a motion sensor so might be flipped on and off several times a day

I have tried all the cfl dimmables none worked and the philips 418590 17watt a21 led w an adapter but it is already very long and the adapter makes it too long to be usable
