The adjustable security strap holds the gun in the holster and the thumb break releases easily when drawing

As for the belt loop and velcro they are good but the overall design of the holster and where the loop is attached to the holster is too low to the center of gravity it needs to be higher so the holster falls straight with your body and not out to the side a loop is too low on the holster if it was a little high it would be perfect
