Pros
The built-in, non-slip keyboard is great! Even if it's slightly dim in the room. Back light is not just a gimmick, it's really handy when the lights are low.
In kodi, it adjust the volume internally much like the volume control on vlc or any other media player. Comes in handy when using the tempermental kodi. Complete plug and play compatibility with osmc kodi on raspberry pi.
Good remote, backlight is wonky though. By far the best remote for nvidia shield.
Cons

I do not use the volume control feature since i have yet to find a good way to use with my multiple devices

To use it in a way that is practical you would need to turn your system volume much higher and then you can use the remote for volume

However this will lead to issues when you go between devices as the tv will be set extremely loud in its default state

There are a lot of remotes that look almost exactly like this remote and the only difference is the color on the programmable buttons

What sold me on this one is it said only the side of the remote the is facing upward is the one that works so you dont have to worry about accidentally pushing buttons on the other side and inadvertently turning off your pie computer or whatever this is connected to

It doesnt have to perfectly facing upward to isolate that specific side but within 4560 degees of facing up if my memory serves me
