What a great product for the price i paid
This was a great product at a great price
Overall my wife is happy as the price was good but we have issues now that we did not before
Besides lower cost feather preinstalls high sierra os which makes the upgrade process much easier
Packaging/appearance
We then downloaded from the thumbdrive easypeasy
Before i even booted it up i pulled the old 256ssd out and put in the 1tb stick in
Competitiveness
We did backup everything to a thumbdrive first
I booted to an old sata drive from my mac mini and did a force unmount and then i was able to do an erase format

Although it does seem to stall every now in then possibly once a month for about 5 or 10 minutes it is not like it will fail or do any damage

The only 2 small issues were 1 it took more a little more pressure than expected to properly seat the unit into the connector and 2 it took longer than anticipated to boot at initial start up that issue disappeared after big sur install

The drive came preinstalled with a mac os to allow up to restore from a timebackup

One of the drivers provided was incorrect

I then attempted to upgrade the os to big sur and it continuously failed to unmount the disk and allow for proper installation

The second issue was the tech support i researched and rectified the problem all before fledgling tech support ever returned my email
