In my application the leds draw the full output of the supply 1 amp at 12 volts and it has to run hot as there is no air flow in the led weatherproof enclosure

Also there is no ul or csa rating looking at the construction that would not be possible anyway

For applications where the supply is safely mounted to prevent accidental electrical shock and especially where air can circulate it should work fine
