Pros
The connection feels very solid, and the dimmer is very smooth. They're simple, relatively inexpensive and so easy to use. Inexpensive and super easy to install.
Cons
At the only point where they (very slightly) dim anything, they flicker so much that so you can't use them to actually dim anything. The off position still passes 5+ volts. The voltage adjustment is horrible.
Wiring to the board itself is 26awg on both - 15 strands of metric 1 copper - so that lowers the overall rating to 2. Wish they would change the title to show wattage instead of amps.

They worked well with the hitlights asin b005gl5r56 and asin b005gl5ug2 led light strips
My boyfriend thought they were easy to use and we love ourselves with the lighting

As a bonus they sort of work with a 5v chain as well though they tend to randomly flicker a bit

If it works like the ws2812 led protocol one conductor is power and the other is the digital signal

So this thing is a digital dimmer meaning it will change the control signal and does not change the power supplied although the leds will pull less current when they get the signal

The pot couldn’t supply infinite resistance so even when “off” a bit of current leaks through so i left the original switch connected to my lite

I ordered a nonremote dimmer because remotes have short battery life and far too soon the contact buttons stop working even with a new battery

Only concern is that the unit is very large making concealing almost impossible

They generally get heavyish use for a couple of years before breaking but electrically never fail
