Glad i bought this over the one made by apple which cost more than double and not nearly as nice a build quality it matches near perfect to my naked eye and it does the job i hook it up to my tv no problem i charge my phone and tablet thru the usb port and hook up the usbc connection everything works i was leery of buying anything not made by apple for an apple product but this turned out to be a smart and must have product for that lonely usbc port on my macbook
