Rods/blocks ranging from 1-12 inches tall; each features a different animal. The wooden units come with a book and dry erase marker. The blocks are sturdy and colorful.

This is a genius invention. The box it comes in is great, so there is no need to get an alternative container. Everything is neatly contained is a small space.

This toy is in line w/ montessori counting rods, but there are a few features that make it more fun. The animal illustrations on each rod, and the dry eraser notebook w/ pre-set math problems.

The paint cover is glossy like that on thomas and friends wooden locomotives. It's very impressive. My only complaint is that the paint scratches off very easily.

Package damaged upon reciept, paint on blocks chipped with the first supervised use. Some kind of lamination that protects the toy would have been greatly appreciated.
