I have a third party joy-con set, which this charger has been able to successfully charge very dependably. I have the latest switch, the one with extended battery, and it was compatible with that dock.
The product itself is pretty solid and seems like it can endure falls. Matte finish matches the original dock. Plastic quality is a little on the flimsy side, but for $20 and being functionally perfect, i won't complain!
Cons
Led indicators are so annoyingly bright, and it wont charge unless your seitch is actually docked. The unit seems to restart over and over again and shows that all remotes are fully charged when they are not. I have now be relegated to using this as a... Read More

I purchased this since my daughter got a nintendo oled for christmas and since the charging cords are just such a mess for more then 2 controllers i was excited for this

Unfortunately her oled controller was to bulky to fit into the dock andor the placement of the charging port could nto reach the male part

As an extension to the switch i feel like this device is impractical it makes the switch unnecessarily long and the lights are extremely bright

If however you have a charging cabinet or station where you have other controllers this works great plus the device will keep a low profile if you use extension cables in the back rather than having two cables jutting out of the sides
