The paper on the side is perfect for doodling when you’re bored at work. Built in pencil sharpener and area to write measurements, notes, etc.

Cons
It has easy to read markings, however they are in only inches and fractions of inches. Most every number is in black ink, but 16 inches is in red ink. The feet symbols are nearly invisible.
The packaging was shredded. The tape metal is brittle and started cracking and broke. It's cheaply built, and the tape is flimsy and weak.
Not a good sales practice of selling defective returns, amazon. Not impressed.
Maybe i'm just a weakling, but the belt clip is awfully hard to open using the built-in lever. The clip is very fragile, and mine broke after 2 days of use. The lock * work but is made out of plastic so durability is questionable. The tip bent and sna... Read More

The pencil sharpener thats built in to the tape is a great idea if you use regular pencils and not the rectangular type carpenter pencils

I prefer the clearly labeled fractions on the tape
