Pros

Strong spring, great lock and the brake is handy to not * your finger. Retraction mechanism is strong and has held up for years now. Seems durable and for the price can’t beat it.

Cons

Light weight & cheap. Everything else is great but that makes this worthless. Good concept but too many flaws and cheaply constructed throughout.

White on black numbers are not readily readable unless you are in a well lite-up room. These tapes have some really neat features, but beware that most of them are somewhat inaccurate. The font used for the foot markers is barely visible, it's so smal...  Read More

When you hook the end of a board, the tape is about a 1/16th off. As a fine furniture builder, 1/32 is way too much for a tape to be off.
