The hood/scarf is soft, warm and easy for a seven and eight year old girl to put on. It's beautiful, soft, and silky! It’s very soft and the hood is a nice feature. Very elegant and plush.
Cons
It looks like you can tie it at the ends in the picture but in actuality, it loops. Had to return.

Also when i loop the bottom part of the scarf around my neck it covers up my neck area pretty comprehensively
