The only minor issue is that the raised front lip whilst a good fit at the top and bottom it is a little loose on the sides

One further observation in questions and answers someone said it worked with an apple smart cover but this is certainly not the case

I feel like over time the edges around the long sides of the ipad may start to soften and not fit so snugly meaning less screen protection if this does eventually happen i will probably just replace with he same product again

Since i mainly use my ipad mini 2 at home i was happy to forego using a case but the metal body of the ipad makes it too slippery to hold
