It does have an auto input switch that works sometimes only because the devises that are hooked up do not drop the hdmi signal when disconnected

When hooked up more than one input sources and if only one sourcebeing turned on the switch will switch to this source automatically when it is power on other than that theremote control will do the switching

Set your tv to the hdmi port you are plugged into turn it on and start your device

You have to make sure that the hdmi cables are fully seated in the back or the input will refuse to switchwork
