Pros & Cons
Pros
The uncoated farberware are easily scrubbed to look like new. I have many and they look as good as they did 50 yrs. My only complaint is that the handle has already come off and we haven't figured out to reapply it.
It's very nice, heavyweight pan! But the pan is so much heavier than my smaller one. Still cooks okay. Large enough to have leftovers too.
The aluminum cladding on the bottom is very think and holds a tremendous amount of heat. Great for cooking steaks or searing sous vide dishes. Makes cooking parmesan chicken cutlets easy and evenly browned.
This large saute pan has no rivets, and a nice set of handles. Purchased to add to an old set of farberware classic series stainless steel pots and pans from the 80s.
