Pros

Easy to setup with the console, just plug and play. Connected to a functioning usb 3.

The appearance of this drive on my desk just looks like it belongs. Definitely a life saver, and well worth the effort.

Cons

This is a first time purchase of a fantom drive and i'm sorely disappointed. There is no way you will get me to trust a drive that clicks nonstop.

The fuse is intact, but i can't find the 12v level anywhere downstream of the fuse. Won't power on. Tried connecting to sales instead, but no answer and got sent to a voicemail. Fantom tech support is non-existent.

That said my 8tb fantomdrive doesnt hum at all on any surface

As it stands it seems that even a trifold napkin underneath will make this drive quiet enough to use as long as its not too close to you

This is my 3rd storage device from fantom also own a 1tb and a 2tb
