While i haven’t installed this yet i am very impressed with the quality so far
I mounted mine horizontally with the flapper joint standing vertical with a 100 cfm booster fan and it is working fine
Working flawlessly as far as im aware

Put it in after the fan but the holes leak on the sides so it blows smoke out

The only reason for the 4 and not 5 stars review is that the spring is pretty week and doesnt hold the flanges closed well

This was due to the lack of a lip between the flap and exterior of the unit had it been a bit longer to allow this type of connection it would have been a non issue

I noticed that occasionally they would stick open so i used my finger to bend the flap eversoslightly so that it didnt touch the center rod except in the places that it was wrapped around the rod

Gravity closes them well if they are installed properly in a vertical upflow section of duct
