Night vision binoculars in a hard soft plastic outer shell casing on first viewing and using you realise that the plastic control buttons are not very easy they need very firm pushing or holding to make the functions work but once you have mastered this you will soon get the hang of the operational controls the casing is not the best quality when you start to look around it you can see its not very well put together with some strange plastic lug legs and clips to hold the battery covers in place again these are very stiff and i dont think the clips will last on constant change of batteries of which you need six aas not supplied please use a quality brand of batteries or they will go flat quickly to get this to work there is no onboard battery which at the cost of these is i believe a poor design as you should really have the best of both at £190 the supplied usb lead is only for data transfer from the 32gb memory card to your pc or other storage device that is supplied this is also on the heavy side so holding still whilst viewing etc for a while will be a small challenge the instruction manual is very comprehensive i would suggest you have a good read before first use as there are lots of different features but overall this is still worth four stars
