It looked like a big gash it was split from the fabric about a third of the circumference of the sleeve

The edges of the seams were frayed and thin

It was practically impossible to sew the sleeve shut at the original seam or even close to the original seam

And so yeah i’ll be doing this often i sewed it shut with a wider seam since i had to avoid ripping more of whatever material was left of the frayed fabric edge causing the end result leftsleeve to be narrower than the right

After one wash the black is fading it has snags from the sewing machine bobbin it isnt as soft until a couple of washes
