Its great if you need to just use it briefly but if youre checking ingredients regularly while fixing something it can be frustrating to find it off especially if you had it calibrated to a dish added some ingredients and then it zeros out when you turn it back on

There is another button that is the power button as well as the zero out function

Then you place your empty platebowl on the scale and press the powerzero button to reset it to 0
