Pros
The dc4 is small yet very capable. Comes with a carrying pouch, one face of which is leather sturdy enough to clip something to. Slips into any pocket whether it’s pants or a backpack. Nice, compact, and works well.
The dc4 is a great tool, and built to last. It goes with me on every trip and delivers excellent results. Recommended by collectors, makers, and enthusiasts alike.
Cons
Was sent a dc3 twice, the barcode on the back says dc4 the product says dc3. It is is advertised as fine grit, it is not. It's glued horribly.

As far as quality control issues i have heard and seen some people say are poor well you’re always going to find people out there that believe in a pessimistic view and approach to everything

This isn’t a perfect world and if you need your sharpening tools to be perfect then you probably need to learn how to sharpen edged blades and tools cause ultimately you are the one in charge of the stone

In addition to dual grits the back of the leather sheath is unfinished so you can use it as a strop to polish your edge after sharpening

The diamond side is crooked on the new one
