Pros
The only thing i don't like about the first one is that the pacing is a little slow. This is one of those books that, as i read it, the world around me melted away.
Cons
The entire books are the fmc inner dialogue and she is so annoying. There was no spark between any of the characters except what was said out loud. The story of the book is far too similar to the story of twilight,only with angels.
Luce's obsession with daniel makes her come across as weak, pathetic, and needy. All her thought bubbles consist of soppy or sorry thoughts about a blonde headed boy who flips her off on the first day.
That cover is like catnip for teen girls. I was rather iffy on the religious theme. Just hormones and tantrums. That's not love, that's compulsion and compulsion is not nice.
The first half of the book was drawn out and very repetitive. There was no exposition. I was confused by the beginning prologue.
She comes across as a whiny love sick little girl who lacks any real substance. What follows is her basically stalking him and him avoiding her.
