Pros
This device works well. If used properly avoids scratching bowl. Well made. Exceptionally well made.
Suggest trying this, to reduce risk of damaging flexi pipe. Used as per the instructions and clear most of the blockage in 5 min. You need to fully retract the cable into the pipe before inserting into the bowl.
Cons
Perhaps it's not optimal for my toilet, but it did not help solve the problem. It turns out that this product is absolutely useless!
Ended up calling a plumber to dislodge the blockage.

Sorted the problem easily proberbly wont get used again as weve got rid of the bleach cages that caused blockage

The guilty party was a toilet bowel freshener case the plastic bit that was stuck in the u bend

The auger poked a hole through it grabbed it and i pulled it out

I agree with the comments about not using it if you have some sort of soft plastic flexible connection the thing that makes this work is its ability to poke holes into the blockage and grab it if it can do that it will certainly poke a hole in a flexible tube
